National Council for Family Relations (NCFR)

The Population and Development Program at Cornell
The center of population studies on campus. The PDP has fostered graduate and undergraduate training in population studies and interdisciplinary research on international and domestic demographic issues since its establishment in 1962.

Association of Population Centers (APC)
The Cornell Population Program in the BLCC is an affiliate of the Association of Population Centers.

Population Association of America (PAA)
The Population Association of America is a society of professionals working in the population field. PAA members include demographers, sociologists, economists and public health professionals.

Gerontology Websites

Ithaca College Gerontology Institute
In addition to a full undergraduate curriculum in gerontology and aging, which helps students to become leaders in an aging society, the Ithaca College Gerontology Institute also has two non-degree options, a 24 credit on campus certificate and a 10 hour on-line certificate in applied gerontology. The Institute offers training and education in gerontology to the community through a distinguished speaker series, workshops and an annual conference. The Gerontological Society of America
The GSA promotes multi-disciplinary research in aging and disseminates gerontological research knowledge to researchers, practitioners, and policy makers.

Association for Gerontology in Higher Education
AGHE is the only national membership organization devoted primarily to gerontological education.  It develops and sponsors education and training initiatives for students, educators, researchers, and officials from across the country.

American Society on Aging (ASA)
The ASA is the largest organization of professionals in the field of aging. Their resources, publications, and educational opportunities are geared to enhance the knowledge and skills of people working with older adults and their families.
